The Heart of a Witch

Those who have dealt with me, more likely than not, will understand that facing the fickleness of superstition and the futility of technology is one of my greatest struggles.

The current world (both in its pace and its tune) is as adverse to the occult as it could be. In the past, the fruits of the magic were punished by death, and the fear of social stigma was enough to compel those with a tendency to stray, not to.

But we live in a different world now.

The world is a sea of stupidity. It is the world of the loud and the empty. Where what seems convenient is endlessly regurgitated. Where everything is dictated by the policy of the spiceless and the spineless.

If you show you have no taste, no backbone, no love for truth and have no shame; you will be allowed to be around, and be seen.

When one looks for what is abstract, one often lands on the necessity for comfort, or the repulsion that might be developed from the trauma of a strict set of the mainstream scriptures of the time.

While Christians are known to believe what they do to find anesthesia and community, the lost "spiritual" crowd will endlessly shuffle a set of cards that will mean nothing in their hands. Embracing silly superstition to validate their desires. Calling anything a ritual and showing no respect for what is real.

Magic is not a pastime, not a part-time job, and it doesn’t conform to secular institutions. It is a burden and a path. Like your core. Something one can’t embrace or abandon, no matter what they wish for.

I am not the type that will bend to politeness, much less to senseless hope. I wouldn’t believe in the supernatural if I wasn’t forced to experience it. Consent was never required.

Because of it, I can say that I used to sympathize with atheists, since the regular person is unlikely to stumble into the astral. Even so, they often show that their repulsion towards a Christian god was the main factor that led them to passionately refuse to see anything but the mundane. Finding a new love for materialism. Even though such a vision of the world can't be anything but degraded.

As a direct result of it, we have technocrats gobbling human suffering, gloating about being a step above the average man, when in truth they are much, much less. They parade their new mistress (that is unfortunately already senile): Artificial Intelligence.

AI is not any sort of intelligence. But a compilation of unpaid work, scrapped together to serve greed alone. The manner in which it is developed is only a telltale sign of the foulness that is its nature.

And even so, the lazy and the weak indulge in it. Degraded, demoralized, and ready to be violated. Seeing anything that is not automatic as flawed. Seeing anything that is truly alive as wrong.

This is where my sympathy towards modernity truly died.

True spirituality goes beyond morality, it is where the tangible meets the beyond. For such reason, I don’t carry a burden to preach what seems palatable or acceptable. Both the parts of you that are of the lightest or the darkest shades exist, and are yours. And they don’t need to be drugged, edited, deleted, or forced to conform.

I am here for those who refuse to live as domesticised beasts, and who wish to indulge in everything that they are and they wish to have.

This is the heart of a witch.
